READING, Pa. - Kiyanna Gill had eight saves and Kaitlyn Roazzi managed two shots on goal but it wasn't enough as the Wesley Women's Soccer team was unable to rebound after surrendering two early goals to Albright in a 3-0 loss at Gene L. Shirk Stadium. The Wolverines fall to 2-2 overall and the Lions improve to 3-2.
The Lions were able to crack the scoresheet just over 20 minutes into the game on a wide right shot. Minutes later they found the net again with another wide right shot.
The Lions defense settled down for the remainder of the game, but the offense could not put the ball in the back of the net despite three shots.
The Wolverines are back in action for a home contest against Eastern on Saturday, September 14th. Game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start.
