ST. DAVID'S, Pa. - Wesley College (0-5, 0-3) fell to conference opponent Eastern University by a final score of 9-0, in women's soccer action on Saturday afternoon.

Wesley Drops Conference Match
DOVER, De. - Wesley College ((0-4) fell to conference opponent Cedar Crest College by a final score of 8-1, on Saturday afternoon in women's tennis action.  Wesley's lone win came at #2 singles by Amy Winstanley (FR, Warwick, Bermuda/Warwick), winning 7-5, 2-6, 6-3.

Lady Wolverines Shut-Out by Misericordia

DALLAS, Pa. - Wesley College (0-2, 0-1) fell to conference opponent College Misericordia (1-1, 1-0) by a final score of 9-0 in women's tennis action on Saturday afternoon.  The Lady Wolverines will next face Goucher College at home on Thursday, September 15th at 3:00.

Lady Wolverines Out-Done by Chestnut Hill

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Wesley College (0-1) traveled to Chestnut Hill College (1-0), falling by a final score of 8-1 in women's tennis action on Friday afternoon.  Wesley's lone win came at #3 singles by Amy Winstanley (FR, Warwick, Bermuda/Warwick), winning 6-1, 6-1.  Wesley will open up conference play as they will travel to College Misericordia on Saturday, September 10th at 1:00.

Coar Hired as Head Women's Tennis Coach
Dover, DE - Wesley College has announced the hiring of head women's tennis coach, Elise Coar.  A Dover native, Coar is a 1986 graduate of Thomas Jefferson University and is an accomplished doubles player in Delaware, finishing 2004 ranked #1 in the Delaware District.   Coar is currently a member of the United States Tennis Association (USTA).
