Six Honored by Conference
DOVER, Del. - The Wesley College women's track & field team combined for 10 All-Mason Dixon Conference honors, while four Wolverines earned places on the league's all-academic team.
Sharis Allen (Dover, Del./Caesar Rodney) was named all-conference in the 100 meter hurdles, while Tristin Burris (Camden, Del./Polytech) earned accolades in the 400 hurdles.
The duo also helped form a pair of All-Mason Dixon relays. In the 4x100 meter relay, Allen joined Twila McCrea (Laurel, Del./Laurel), Jessica Curry-Keith (Claymont, Del./Harriton {Pa.}) and Jennifer Parave (Bridgeton, N.J./Woodstown) to earn conference honors. Allen earned her third All-Mason Dixon honor in the 4x400 meter relay, along with Burris, McCrea and Parave.
Burris, Curry-Keith, and McCrea were also named to the all-academic team, along with Charminta Brown (Egg Harbor Twp., N.J./Egg Harbor Twp.).
The Wolverines turned in a seventh place finish at the Mason Dixon Conference Championships.
