Sprinters Show Well at WCU Open

WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Wesley College's women's track & field team competed on a windy Friday afternoon at the West Chester University Open Invitational. 

Tamisha Thomas had the best individual performance for the Navy & White as she placed fourth in the 100m hurdles in 16.38.  Just behind her was Sharis Allen, who placed sixth in 16.63.  Allen also scored points with a seventh place finish in the long jump (4.67m).

Shakeiya Marshall also produced points by taking eighth in the 100m Dash (13.76)

The Wolverines return to the track on May 5-6 for the Capital Athletic Conference Championships, hosted by Frostburg State.
