SALISBURY, Md. – The 4x400m Relay of freshmen Elizsha Streeter, Kiona Mency and Angel Hall, as well as sophomore Stevi Carpenter highlighted Wesley College's women's track team's day at the Salisbury Last Chance on Friday afternoon.
Leading for much of the race against four of the top relays in the Nation, the Wolverines clocked a 3:54.76, besting their own school-record by over ten seconds which was set at the Capital Athletic Conference Championship.
To open the meet, Streeter, Mency and Hall were joined by classmate Kameko Webb in the 4x100m Relay which took the gold in 48.28, breaking their own CAC-record.
Mency also won the 100m Dash in 12.50 despite battling the wind while Streeter easily bested the competition in the 400m Dash. Streeter completed the open 400 in 58.05, winning by over three seconds.
