DELAWARE, Ohio – Freshman Kameko Webb will be the first Wesley College women's track & field athlete to compete at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on May 22-24 as she qualified in the long jump, it was announced on Sunday morning.
A native of Harrisburg, Pa., Webb is seeded 12th in the event after shattering a Wesley record with a leap of 18 feet, nine inches at the Coppin State Invitational. Webb also owns the indoor school-record in the triple jump and is a member of Wesley's 4x100m Relay which owns the Capital Athletic Conference record in a time of 48.28.
Webb's long jump competition will start at 3:30 pm on Thursday, May 22 and the top nine qualifiers after three jumps will receive another three jumps afterwards to declare a National Champion.
