NEW YORK, N.Y. – Wesley College's 4x400m Relay broke its own Capital Athletic Conference and school-record , highlighting the Wolverines' women's track & field team's day at the ECAC Championships on Saturday afternoon at the New Balance Track & Field Center.
The squad of sophomores Elizsha Streeter and Danae Carter, as well as freshmen Angel Hall and Quadira Minus won their heat and took seventh overall in 3:58.87, shaving nearly six seconds off the record they set at the CAC Championships late last month.
Streeter, a Hagerstown, Md., native, also competed in the 200m and 400m Dash earlier in the day and took sixth of 17 in the 400m (58.45) and 17th in the 200m (26.01). Streeter ran the second leg of the Relay and split an official time of 57.66, the second-fastest split among the entire field of 20 relays.
Sophomore Kameko Webb finished 24th in the long jump with a mark of 16-06.50.
