DOVER, Del. - After helping the Wesley College Women's Track and Field team to their best finish in program history at the Capital Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships over the weekend, Elizsha Streeter was named ECAC South Athlete of the Week.
Streeter was phenomenal for Wesley in the CAC Indoor Championships, earning two gold medals and a silver in the event. Streeter came in second place in the 200m race, finishing with a 26.06 mark. The junior then went on to win the 400m, setting a new CAC record with a 58.79 mark. Streeter earned her second gold medal as part of Wesley's 4x400 relay team, which earned the first-place finish with a time of 4:00.88.
Streeter and the Wolverines will travel to Boston this weekend to take part in the Boston Last Chance Meet hosted by Boston University.
