Several Wolverines Garner All-Conference Selections

YORK, Pa. - The Wesley College Women's Track and Field team raced to their best finish in program history at the Capital Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships. On their way to the third place finish, the Wolverines placed six individual performances and two relay teams among the All-Conference teams.

Elizsha Streeter was Wesley's brightest star, selected to the All-Conference First Team for her performances in the 200m, the 4x100m relay and the 4x400m relay. She was awarded Second Team All-Conference for her finish in the 400m. On the 4x100m relay team, Streeter was joined by Angel Hall, Briana Artis, and Alexia Mitchell. The 4x400m relay team was comprised of Streeter, Hall, Artis, and Quadira Minus.

Alexia Mitchell reached First Team All-Conference status after winning the 100m dash. Monshea Newsome-Murray joined her on the First Team after taking t he victory in the triple jump. 

Dieunise Desir earned Second Team honors with her finish in the 800m run, while Kaylah Mitchell was placed on the Second Team for two events, finishing second in the long jump and the triple jump. 

Wesley continues their journey to the NCAA National Championships this weekend when they compete in the Penn Relays.
