FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) released the Women's Indoor Track & Field All-CAC Teams on Thursday.
Wesley College senior Ashley Morris and Jourdyn Beverly earned All-CAC First Team laurels. Morris won the 60-meter hurdles with a record-setting performance in the preliminaries and followed up with a first-place effort in the finals. Beverly picked up a win in the weight throw for the second consecutive year.
Evelina Sloboh, Briana Artis, Quadira Minus, Rakiya Taylor and Angel Hall collected second-team honors. Sloboh placed second in the 60-meter dash while Artis, Minus, Taylor and Hall finished second in the 4x400-meter relay.
As a team, the Wolverines placed third in the CAC Indoor Championships.
