Wesley Falls to Gallaudet
DOVER, Del. - The Wesley College volleyball team fell in straight sets to visiting Gallaudet in Capital Athletic Conference volleyball.
The Bison (20-10, 6-2 CAC) closed the first set with six straight points to claim a 25-11 win.
The Wolverines (8-21, 1-6 CAC) fell behind 7-3 in the second set, but rallied to make it 23-20. Gallaudet, however, finished off the Wolverines with back-to-back points for a 25-20 victory.
In the third set, the Bison steadily pulled away, winning the set and the match with a 25-14 final.
Wesley wraps up its home schedule with another CAC matchup when Mary Washington visits Wentworth Gymnasium on Wednesday, October 28 at 7:00 PM.
