Volleyballs Falls In Three

DOVER, Del. – The Wesley College volleyball team fell in three sets (25-17, 25-10, 25-23) to Frostburg State in Capital Athletic Conference action on Sunday afternoon.  The Wolverines fall to 3-16 on the year and 0-4 in the CAC while the Bobcats move to 4-16 overall and 2-2 in league play.

Cristina Maruffo led the navy & White with seven kills while hitting a team-high .333, to go along with 11 assists.  Lindsay DiMuzio also had a solid day offensively with six kills and just one error on 22 swings for a .227 hitting percentage.  She also tallied three total blocks and eight digs.

Meghan Marshall had a match-high 13 digs while Danielle Gehr and Tatum Jones combined for all five of Wesley's aces on the day. Jacquelle Boone also had three blocks.

For the Bobcats, Morgan Hoover hit .435 on 13 kills on just 23 swings.  Kass Greis recorded a double-double with a match-high 26 assists and ten digs.  She also had four service aces.

Wesley is back home on Tuesday, October 2 when it hosts Lancaster Bible at 7 pm.
