Volleyball Drops Two At Rowan

GLASSBORO, N.J. – Wesley College's volleyball team dropped a pair of matches at the Rowan University tri-match to Hunter College (25-18, 27-29, 26-24, 25-16) and the host Profs (25-12, 25-13, 25-23) on Saturday afternoon.  The Wolverines are now 4-19 on the season.

In the opener against Hunter, Lindsay DiMuzio led the squad with nine kills and 23 digs, just missing out on a double-double.  Jacquelle Boone, Sharis Allen and Alysha Brannon all had seven kills apiece.  Brannon and Boone both had three total blocks each.

Tatum Jones recorded a match-high four blocks while Meghan Marshall tallied 22 assists.  Cristina Marruffo assisted on 27 of Wesley's 37 kills.

Marshall led the team with seven digs in the three set loss to Rowan while Allen had a team-high five kills.  Danielle Gehr recorded a match-high four service aces.

The Wolverines return to action on October 10, when they travel to CAC rival Mary Washington for a 7 pm start.
