Volleyball Falls To Washington College in Pink Match

DOVER, Del. – Wesley College's volleyball team fell to Washington College in straight sets (27-25, 25-17, 25-21) on Sunday afternoon at Wentworth Gymnasium.  The Wolverines fall to 4-21 on the year while the Shorewomen move to 10-12.

Meghan Marshall had a match-high 17 digs while Jacquelle Boone led Wesley offensively with eight kills with just two errors on 12 swings.  Alysha Brannon also had six kills while Sharis Allen and Lindsay DiMuzio had five kills apiece.  Brannon and Tatum Jones also led the team with a pair of blocks while Allen recorded a solo block.

Jenny Lee led the Shorewomen with 19.5 points on 12 kills, five aces and three total blocks.

The Wolverines will travel to Capital Athletic Conference rival Salisbury on October 17 at 7 pm.
