Volleyball Finishes Record-Breaking Season

DOVER, Del. – Wesley College's volleyball team dropped its season finale to Salisbury University, 3-0 (25-10, 25-17, 25-15) on Wednesday night at Wentworth Gymnasium.  The Wolverines recorded a program-best 15-13 overall record and finished 1-7 in the CAC while the Sea Gulls improve to 26-4 and 6-1 in league play.

Seniors Sharis Allen and Lindsay DiMuzio, who were honored pregame, led the Wolverines with six and three kills, respectively.  DiMuzio also finished with three total blocks for 5.0 points, following Allen's 6.5 points.

Meghan Marshall tallied a team-high 19 digs along with a pair of service aces while Ashley Klein was credited with ten assists and eight digs. 

In her first collegiate season, Klein set school-records for assists (595) and service aces (74) in a single-season while Marshall's 477 digs is also a school-record.

Arnelle Akakpo led the squad with 211 kills on the year.
