Volleyball Drops Brandywine, Falls to Bryn Mawr

MEDIA, Pa. – Wesley College's volleyball team rebounded from a three-set loss to Bryn Mawr with a victory over Penn State Brandywine on Saturday afternoon at the Brandywine Athletic Center.

Tionne Graves-Brown and Tania Rounds each had a team-high eight kills against Bryn Mawr while Graves-Brown was second to Meghan Marshall's 14 digs with ten of her own. Graves-Brown then had the best match of her young career offensively with 12 kills and 12 digs for a double-double against Brandywine while Marshall had a team-high 18 digs.

Rounds and Arnelle  Akakpo each had six kills against Brandywine while Beth Schlecker (15 assists) and Cody Ziolkowski (14 assists) had great matches quarterbacking the offense.  Ziolkowski also had six aces, seven digs and four blocks.

The Wolverines (3-1) travel to Penn State Abington on September 6 for a quad-match against Arcadia, the host Nittany Lions and Trinity (D.C.) at 12 pm, 2 pm and 5 pm, respectively.
