Volleyball Falls in Three at Mary Washington

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Wesley College volleyball team fell in straight sets (25-15, 25-19, 25-14) at Mary Washington on Wednesday night at the Anderson Center.  The Wolverines now stand at 11-12 overall and 1-5 in the CAC while the Eagles move to 19-9 and 4-2 in league play.

Tania Rounds led Wesley with six kills on just eight swings with no errors while Jessica Tynes and Tionne Graves-Brown recorded five each.  Rounds also had a team-high four total blocks as Beth Schlecker's 19 assists helped the Wolverines to a .213 hitting percentage.

Meghan Marshall had ten digs to lead the team.

Wesley returns to action at Southern Virginia on Saturday, October 25 at 3 pm.
