DOVER, Del. – Wesley College's volleyball team sent off its lone senior, Rachel Hausler, with a decisive, 3-0 (25-3, 25-16, 25-14) victory over Washington Adventist University on Senior Day at Wentworth Gymnasium on Sunday afternoon. The Wolverines finish the year 12-15 overall.
In her final collegiate match, Hausler led the Wolverines with 13 digs and recorded the kill in the deciding set to seal the win. Hausler also was credited with four service aces which were second on the squad to Meghan Marshall's six.
Tionne Graves-Brown recorded a match-high eight kills while Jessica Tynes finished with six and three others chipped in with four. Beth Schlecker assisted on 22 kills, leading Wesley to a .253 hitting percentage compared to -.236 for the Shock.
Charlene Coyne recorded four solo blocks on the afternoon.
