Wolverines Split a Pair at Guetle Invitational

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Wesley College volleyball team fell in their first match of the day, but rebounded with a grueling 3-2 victory over Bridgewater (Va.) in their second contest, splitting their first day of the CUA Guetle Invitational.

The Wolverines took on Catholic in the first match of the day, falling 3-0 to the hosts. Immediately after that result the Navy and White took the court again, this time facing Bridgewater. The squad took the Eagles the distance, and pulled out an intense 3-2 victory.

The Wolverines improve to 4-3 on the season and will return to action on Saturday for day two of the CUA Guetle Invitational. Wesley will take on Otterbein and Marywood in their second day of action.
