WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Wesley College Volleyball team recorded a combined 30 aces, with Lindsay Burg and Codi Ziolkowski leading the way with seven apiece as the Wolverines rolled to a 3-0 win against Trinity (D.C.) on Wednesday night.
Tionne Graves-Brown had a team-high nine kills, swinging for a .643 attack percentage. Burg led the team with 15 assists on the evening while Graves-Brown finished with a squad-best five digs.
The team allowed just 21 points to their opponent, making just 13 errors on the evening. As a team, the Wolverines earned a .294 attack percentage in the first set to win 25-12. In the second set the squad swung for .211 in a 25-7 win. In the third the Wolverines hit .190 in a 25-6 set win to close out the victory.
The team improves to 3-0 on the season and will take part in a four-match tournament this weekend at Catholic University of America. The Wolverines will take on the hosts in their first match of the weekend.
