Wolverines Drop two on Final Day of CUA Tournament

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Wesley College Volleyball team dropped a pair of matches on their final day of competition at the Catholic University of America Tournament in the nation's capital on Saturday, falling 3-0 to Bridgewater and 3-1 to Shenandoah.

In the two matches combined, Tionne Graves-Brown led the team with 17 kills while Codi Ziolkowski combined for 10 kills. Jessica Tynes added five kills in each match while Lindsay Burg dished out 48 combined assists between the two matches.

The Wolverines earned one win in four tournament matches over the weekend, moving to 4-3 on the season. The squad will play in their home opener on Tuesday, Sept. 13 when they host Lehman.
