Tynes, Graves-Brown leads volleyball against Marymount

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Wesley College women's volleyball team fell to the Marymount Eagles in three sets (25-20, 25-22, 25-18) in Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) action.

Jessica Tynes led the Wolverine offense with 10 kills. She also notched six blocks and six digs.

Tionne Graves-Brown tallied 11 digs and seven kills. Tania Rounds, Nadia Hopkins and Codi Ziolkowski each recorded three kills in the loss. Hopkins also blocked four attacks while Rounds, Ziolkowski and Mary Getty each collected two blocks a piece.

Lindsay Burg handed out 14 assists and Caelli Clifford dug out a team-best 13 attacks.

Caroline Hanson had a kill-dig double-double for Marymount.

The Wolverines will close out the 2017 season with a four-game homestand. On Tuesday, the Wolverines will host the Alvernia Crusaders. Game time is slated for 7 p.m.
