DOVER, Del. – The Wesley College women's volleyball honored their four seniors in a big way by picking up a four-set win (18-25, 30-28, 25-23, 25-22) in a Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) contest over the Penn St.-Harrisburg Lions.
After dropping the first set, Wesley rifled off three straight set wins, including a back-and-forth second set where Wesley was facing four set points and came back to win the set.
Tionne Graves-Brown collected her 10th kill-dig double-double of the season behind an 11 kill, 10 dig effort. She also tallied two service aces and two blocks.
Tania Rounds, Codi Ziolkowski and Nadia Hopkins each recorded five kills for the Wolverines. Hopkins blocked five Lion attacks while Rounds added three blocks. Ziolkowski chipped in with two blocks of her own.
Caelli Clifford dug out 16 attacks in the back row.
Melanie Sheaffer had 12 kills for the Lions.
The Wolverines (15-11, 2-5 CAC) will be back in action tomorrow when they host the York (Pa.) Spartans. The action from Wentworth Gymnasium is set for 11 a.m.
