York outlasts volleyball in five sets

DOVER, Del. – The Wesley College women's volleyball team battled to five sets with conference foe the York (Pa.) Spartans but dropped the match three sets to two (16-25, 27-25, 25-23, 13-25, 16-18).

Tionne Graves-Brown picked up third consecutive kill-dig double-double when she led the Wolverines with a game-high 16 kills along with 11 digs. Graves-Brown also added five blocks and two service aces.

Courtney Olson also notched double-digit kills when she collected 11 kills to set a new season-best.

Codi Ziolkowski tallied seven kills. Regan Healey dug out nine attacks and dropped in seven service aces on the Spartans. Tania Rounds chipped in with five kills.

Caelli Clifford recorded 20 digs and six assists. Lindsay Burg handed out 23 assists and added seven digs while Teaghen Vogelsang secured 15 assists and six digs.

Brooke Krebs had 11 kills and 10 assists for the Spartans.

The Wolverines will wrap up the 2017 season when they host the Salisbury Sea Gulls. The action is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
