Volleyball stumbles in tri-match to Cabrini, Susquehanna

RADNOR, Pa. – The Wesley College volleyball team fell in two matches on Saturday to Atlantic East Conference foe Cabrini, and Susquehanna in a tri-match.

Wesley dropped in the opening match to Cabrini in three sets, 25-11, 25-18, 25-20.

Regan Healey recorded seven kills and seven digs. Micah Wright tallied six kills on 16 attacks and added a block assist. Mary Getty had four kills while Elisa Hackendorn had three kills.

Teaghen Vogelsang handed out 11 assists while Lindsay Burg tallied six assists along with seven digs. Caelli Clifford registered 14 digs.

Steph Judkins led Cabrini with 19 kills and 11 digs.

Wesley fell in their final game of the tri-match to Susquehanna, 25-21, 25-10, 25-18.

Nya Lightfoot collected six kills, two service aces and a pair of digs. Hackendorn tallied five kills while Getty, Wright and Healey each notched three kills. Healey added six digs and three service aces.

Clifford led the defense with 17 digs. Vogelsang and Burg combined for 18 assists and eight digs.

Wesley returns home for a non-conference matchup with the Delaware Valley Aggies on Thursday. The Wolverines will celebrate Youth Volleyball Night and Dig Purple Night during the game.
