Wesley Competes at CAC Championships

THORNTON, Va. - The Wesley College cross country teams competed at the Capital Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Mary Washington.
The men's team finished sixth, while the women were seventh.
Tiara Brooks (Felton, Del./Lake Forest) was the top finisher on either team, taking 24th in the women's 6K race in 26:55.
David Breeding (Felton, Del./Lake Forest) led the men in the 8K with a 32nd place finish in 30:32.
Other finishers on the women's side include Ashley Merget in 42nd (30:34), Jen Parave in 51st (36:10), Jacky Allman in 52nd (37:02) and Erin Slattery in 54th (41:24).
On the men's side, after Breeding were John Clarke in 55th (35:54), Chris Donisi in 57th (41:12), Nick Pisacano in 58th (41:26) and Matt Robertson in 60th (43:20).
The men were sixth with 168 points, trailing Marymount for a spot in the top five by 30 points.
The women tallied 183 to finish seventh.
