Wesley Runs at CAC Championships

YORK, Pa. - Running on a snow covered course, Wesley College finished its women's cross country season at the Capital Athletic Conference Championships hosted by York (Pa.) at John Rudy Park.

Running in her first collegiate race, Stevi Carpenter (Lester, Pa./Interboro) turned in a 31:07.46 to finish 62nd on the 6,000-meter course.  Twila McCrea (Laurel, Del./Laurel) turned in a 32:46.22 to finish 69th. 

Kristine Bailey (Vancouver, Wash./Evergreen) was 74th in 33:51.71.  Farryn Kaufman (Havertown, Pa./Haverford) took 85th in 37:53.72, while Shakeiya Marshall (Chester Twp., Pa./New Beginnings Academy) and Tamara Backus (Newark, Del./Glasgow) rounded out the Wolverines. 

Salisbury claimed the team title, while Mary Washington's Liz Green took top individual honors.
