Meredith Moore enters her fifth year overall as an Athletic Trainer, second year as the Head Athletic Trainer, in the Department of Sports Medicine at Wesley College. Moore oversees the Sports Medicine staff who provide care to all 19 of Wesley’s NCAA-sponsored sports.

Moore also acts as liaison with the team physician at First State Orthopedics and with Premier Physical Therapy. Currently Moore also works as an adjunct professor in the Kinesiology Department.

While at Wesley Moore has become a member of the Delaware ATs Care team, a peer support organization started by the NATA. She continues to strive to improve the quality of care and experience for all colleagues and student athletes.

Moore earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training from California University of Pennsylvania in May of 2016 and her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Marywood University in May 2015.

Moore comes to Wesley from Division II California University of Pennsylvania (Cal U), where she served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer. Meredith served the athletes at Cal U as well as McGuffey School District where she oversaw the diagnosis and treatment of more than 300 student-athletes. Since 2012, Meredith has worked with athletes from nine different institutions, including work as a student assistant athletic trainer at Marywood University and University of Scranton. 

During her time at Cal U, Moore also worked as an athletic trainer with Nova Care Physical Therapy, where she worked several high schools and collegiate athletic events as the athletic trainer on duty.

At Marywood, Moore served as a research assistant in the Human Physiology Lab and Dean’s Office of College of Health and Human Services. She was also essential in a pilot study researching Concussion Education in High School Athletes.

An eight-time Dean’s List student during her undergraduate studies, Moore was a member of the women’s soccer team, a member of Delta Epsilon Sigma Academic Honor Society and an officer with the Marywood Athletic Training Club. 

Moore earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training from Cal U in May of 2016 and her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Marywood in May 2015.

Moore is a member of the National Athletic Training Association, the Eastern Athletic Training Association and the Delaware Athletic Training Association. Moore is licensed to practice in the state of Delaware. She is also a Board of Certification Certified Athletic Trainer and holds a Performance Enhancement Specialist certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
