Sam Silverstine joined the Wesley College Sports Medicine staff in September of 2020. He joins the Wolverines following a stint as an assistant athletic trainer at St. Thomas Aquinas College. At St. Thomas Aquinas College, Silverstine worked with all of the student athletes.
Silverstine also has stints at St. Luke’s University Health Network, Geisinger, and Lock Haven University.
Sam is a member of the National Athletic Training Association, the Eastern Athletic Training Association, Delaware Athletic Training Association, and the Pennsylvania Athletic Training Society. Silverstine is licensed to practice in the states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New York. His certifications include Hawk Grips Practitioner Level-I, Performance Enhancement Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and Rock Blade IASTM Certified.
Silverstine earned his M.S. in Exercise Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in August 2017 and his B.S. in Athletic Training from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania in May 2016.
