Joey Strazza came in relief of starter Cole Davis and held the Macs to zero earned runs over his four inning, but the rally fell short as the as the Wolverines fell 3-12.
In game two of the day the Might Macs were held scoreless the first two innings of the game from starting pitcher Hunter Barr, before they finally broke though in the third. Barr went five innings striking out three before handing the ball off to Ben Dawson and then Anthony Santucci. The Wolverines crossed the plate for the first time in the fourth inning off a Schneider double scoring Courtney once again. Fast forward to the eight inning where Alex Weber snuck it past the Macs third baseman scoring Jason Boc. Darin Matthews followed that up with a hard hit ground ball that scored Miesel.
