The baseball team took on the Cabrini Cavaliers for their weekend series.

Friday in a single game match up the Cavs capitalize on some untimely errors by the Wolverines defense. Anthony Santucci relieved Joe Golden in the 5th inning slowing the Cabrini bats allowing only two earned runs over his 4.1 innings of work, while striking out 5. Dustin Sutton lead the offense contributing two hits and the only RBI of the game. The Cavaliers took game one 11-1.

In the second day of the series game one showed a much different Wolverine team as they turned a Friday lose into a Wolverine win. Cole Davis toed the rubber for the Wolverines throwing all seven innings accumulating 10 strike outs. Sutton once again led the offense going 2-4 with three RBI's. In the fourth inning Jacob Meisel singled scoring Sutton for the seventh run of the game in what ended up being the game winner. Cabrini chipped away in each inning after that, but it wasn't enough to overcome the large lead the Wolverines put together with the final score of 7-6.

In the third game of the series and second of the day, the Wolverines fell to Cabrini 12-1. Kyle Schneider had two hits while Sutton had the only RBI of the game.
The team returns to action Friday with a single home game vs. the Pacers of Marywood University. First pitch is set for 3:30pm.
