Carly Setting contributed 3 assists, while Leighty and Behornar also contributed one each.
The Wolverines dominated play keeping the ball inside their offensive 50 most of the game. Excellent play by the defensive trio of Kim Pladeck, Jada Kilgore and Alexis Howerin helped to keep the Neumann offense away from the circle, allowing 3 shots (0 on cage) for the Knights. In the midfield, Kristen Fuhr, Jessica Behornar, and Margaret Johnson were able to feed the offense the ball time-and time again. As they worked to keep the ball moving towards goal, the offense took charge and peppered the Neumann defense with 38 shots, 21 of them on goal. The Wolverines ended the game with 21 penalty corners, while Neumann was held without one.
Neumann University goalie Megan Frame finished the game with 14 saves, while defenders Abi Dodds and Michelle Hughes each collected a defensive save. Wesley goalies Lauren Berry and Katie Porter were not called upon to make a save.
