Amanda Fisher returns for 7th year assisting the Wolverines.  After a year off to spend with future field hockey star Liliana Leone, Amanda is back to work with the defenders  

Fisher was a four-year starter on defense for the Wolverines, two-year captain and three-time All-Capital Athletic Conference selection, and was named to the NFHCA Academic All-American each year.  At the conclusion of her athletic career, Fisher received Wesley's female Shirley Wentworth Award which goes to an athlete with outstanding sportsmanship, ethics, character and commitment to her sport.

Fisher graduated with a bachelors in political science, receiving Magna Cum Laude High Honors.  She was also a member of the National Political Science Honor Society and Alpha Chi Honor Society. She served as a graduate assistant with the field hockey program and earned a Master’s in Environmental Science.  Upon graduation Amanda traveled to Nicaragua with the Peace Corps and spent two years teaching Science and helping to make their lives better.    

A native of Felton, DE,  Fisher played field hockey at Lake Forest High School.  She now resides in the Dover area with her husband daughter.
