Ehrhardt Sits 3rd after 18 at McDaniel

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – After 18 holes of the McDaniel Spring Invitational at The Bridges Golf Club on Saturday afternoon,  Robert Ehrhardt sits in a tie for third, just one shot behind the lead as he shot a three-over 73.  Teammate Clayton Bunting is in a ten-way tie for 13th, carding a five-over 77, just five shots off the lead.

Wesley College is currently in 13th place, but just six shots out of tenth, finishing with a four-person total of 338 (+50).  Mason Mendoza shot an 85 and Cole Messick finished with a 101.

Ehrhardt shot even par on the front nine, bogeying the second before going for a birdie on the par three, 189-yard fourth hole.  He then went on to par the next six holes before going +4 on the next four holes.  He birdied the 15th and the 18th to come home in a three-over 39 to shoot a 75.

Bunting shot a one-under front nine with birdies on one, three and eight but bogeyed two and seven.  He then shot a six-over 42 on the back nine to finish with an impressive 77.

The Wolverines conclude the Easter weekend Tournament when they tee off at approximately 1:30 pm tomorrow afternoon.
