Anderson paces Wesley with new career-high against Immaculata

IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Wesley College men's basketball team squared off against the Immaculata Mighty Macs in an Atlantic East Conference matchup and fell short 81-67 on Saturday.

Evan Anderson set a new career-high with his third 30-plus point performance of the season with a game-high 33 points on 9-of-20 shooting. He drained 6-of-8 three-pointers and was a perfect 9-of-9 from the free-throw line. Anderson also grabbed four rebounds and blocked a shot in the loss.

Brian Cameron collected his sixth double-double of the season and second in a row, with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Cameron joined Anderson in perfection from the free-throw line, also shooting 9-of-9 from the charity stripe. Cameron added four assists and a game-high two blocks.

Derick Charles chipped in with eight rebounds and four points of his own. Tyrone Craven hauled in six rebounds and dished out two assists.

Jordan Ambrose led Immaculata with 29 points.

Wesley (9-11, 3-4 Atlantic East) will be back in action on the road tomorrow when they face Division I Princeton in an exhibition contest. Tipoff is scheduled for 12 p.m.
