Dover, Del. - The Wesley Men's Basketball team (14-8, 8-1), who are on a three-game win streak, have earned their eighth conference win on Saturday, Feb. 8th after defeating the Immaculata Mighty Macs (8-13, 3-5) 83-71.
Another big contributor was Terrence Braxton who helped lead the team with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
To start the first half of the game Immaculata scored first, but it wasn't long before Terrence Braxton came back with three points to put Wesley ahead 3-2 two minutes into the game.
Wesley continued to take charge in the first half, Cameron led the wolverines with 20 points, followed by Greg Bloodsworth, with 10 points. Both Cameron and Brye Hopkins had seven rebounds each in the first half of the game. The Wolverines went into the half leading 43-36.
Wesley dominated the second half again this time, leading by 18 points with three minutes left in the game.
The Wolverines won the game 83-71, placing them 8-1 in the conference.
Wesley shot 40.6 percent from the field, 37.9 from behind the arc and 64.0 percent from the free-throw line.
Next up the Wolverines will take on the Marywood Pacers away in Scranton, PA. on Saturday, Feb. 15th. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 p.m
