In game one of the series senior pitcher, and the conference leader in wins Dori Loukopoulos lead Wesley to a 3-1 victory striking out nine Cavaliers while scattering four hits in her seven innings of work. Offensively the team was lead by senior right fielder Miranda Kinney who had two hits, one which was a two run home run. Freshman first baseman Rachel Martinez smacked a double scoring Curry in the seventh to put the game out of reach.

Junior third baseman Gab Monzo hit the long ball in the 4th and a grand slam in the 5th contributing 7 rbis during the game in a 3 for 4 effort. Loukopoulos who was the designated player during the game was 2 for 2 with 2 RBI's and two walks. Monzo and Loukopoulos also both laid down back to back sacrifice squeeze bunts in the third leading the rally charge.
Game three was once again all for the Wolverines as Loukopoulos scored her second win of the weekend throwing a shut out, striking out six in the game. Martinez again came through clutch with a two rbi double in the fifth sealing the Wolverines victory 4-0.
In the final game of the day Shanyn Burch stymied the Cavalier offense with quality pitching backed by a defensive gem for the Wolverines. Wesley outhit the Cavs 9-0 lead by Senior shortstop Bianca Newsom who was 2 for 3 with a triple and run scored. Loukopoulos and Sophomore second baseman Carly Endres contributed extra base hits in the victory. With the win the Wolverines are now 11-1 in conference play currently sitting atop the leader board.
