Bennett Scores Season High Against Neumann

ASTON, Pa. – On Wednesday, the Wolverines traveled to face Atlantic East Conference rival Neumann, and despite their first half rally, fell to the Knights 17-12.

Wesley found themselves in a hole early as Neumann took a 4-0 lead before sophomore Cat Bennett (6) found the back of the net to begin her game high scoring effort. The Wolverines would outshine the Knights for the remainder of the half with contributing goals from junior Hanna Giaccone (2), senior Kassie Dieter (2), sophomore Margaret Johnson, and junior Emily Magness with her first goal of the season.

The second half went to the Knights as they were able to dominate the draw winning 10 with the Wolverines only able to control two.
