Women’s Soccer draws even with Bryn Mawr

DOVER, Del. – The Wesley College women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with the Bryn Mawr Owls on Saturday.

In the 15th minute, Megan Shacklock got Wesley on the board first. Emily Caldarelli played Shacklock in the box. Shacklock would step over the ball to get past her defender and shot the ball past the goalkeeper.

Kass Wojcik would tie up the game for Bryn Mawr in the 67th minute when she received a through ball from Elizabeth Kiely and found the back of the net.

Wesley would pressure Bryn Mawr late but would both defenses held tight and played two scoreless overtime periods.

Isabelle Fabris tallied nine saves in net for the Wolverines.

The Wolverines (4-1-1) are back in action Tuesday, Sept. 25. when they host the Goucher Gophers at the DE Turf Complex in Frederica, Del. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
