Women's Soccer Falls to Immaculata

Women's Soccer Falls to Immaculata

DOVER, Del. - Wesley Women's soccer took the field against the Immaculata Mighty Macs for the team's final game of the season. 14 of our Wolverine Seniors were honored during halftime.

The Mighty Macs and Wolverines went the entire first half playing great defense, keeping each other from finding the back of the net. Both goalies had multiple saves, keeping the game scoreless in the first half.

Just minutes into the second half, Immaculata scored, putting them in the lead, 1-0. There was still a lot of time left for Wesley to come back.

Further into the second half, Immaculata's goalie scored an own goal for Wesley to tie the game 1-1.

Immaculata scored another goal near the end of the second half, allowing them to win the game.

Wesley goalies Kiyanna Gill and Emily Magness did a great job throughout the game defending the net, holding Immaculata to only two goals.
